One hundred years old today, but still just a baby at third youngest in the family. The signing ceremony was the first recording on film in the White House. Still, we get no respect around the country as everyone celebrates Valentine's Day, a made up holiday that nobody even understands.
Except Hallmark and See's. They understand it.
And, it's SNOWING!!!!!!

For a present, we got snow today. Big, fat, one-inch flakes. It is not cold enough for it to stick, though. It started as hail an hour ago.
We had a little mixed rain and snow for a short time, and Mingus got a nice covering of white yesterday.
Vada and her kids joined me at the Clemenceau Museum (you know, our old schoolhouse!) for birthday cake and singing and the ringing of bells at 2:14 to commemorate the time of the signing of our State Charter. We rang the bells for 100 seconds, which the kids really loved! At least 100 people showed up, and there were other places doing events around town, too. Fun! I remember our State's 50th anniversary, so I hope this generation will remember that they took part in the Centennial!
