Hope you all have a good time at K-T. We will not be able to join you this time. We are preparing for our own time in the cool high country. If all goes as planned (and it never does) we will start packing the trailer today, and leave town on Monday.
While we hope you don't get rain on your picnic, we hope for afternoon rains on our campsite to keep things cool and reduce fire danger.

The day couldn't have been better. cloud cover most of the time, about 10 minutes of 10 drops of rain per minute, then the last hour the sun shone down on us. Food and company were excellent of course, and everyone had a good time. I love that my grandchildren are making memories in one of the special places I remember from my childhood, too. They caught a frog today, and a caterpiller, and there were lots of dragonflies over the pond. Lovely day! Thanks for the good wishes too.
