Screeeeech....whoa.....what's going on here? There is no Christmas music. There are no Christmas decorations (except for the Christmas Shop). Wait...it's August and it's Alaska. It's not December and Tucson.
Oh my, finish that Christmas shopping and go jeepin with Don. So that's what we did!

Don had time off to go jeeping? Like real time off.
No, he was doing research on a road for a possible route for the tour. We followed along in our truck with the idea that we'd have another vehicle just in case. When we got to the road and piled into the jeep we figured we could walk back to our truck if needed. After a few miles I said, "Don, I don't think we want to have trouble and walk back anymore." We got to a place where we couldn't go any farther due to the wet trail so that was the end of that. Additional research will be required!
Jeepin' was way cool. That road was the kind I was convinced didn't exist around here. If it hadn't been wet and muddy we could have gone farther. And it is a true jeep road, my truck won't go there. But we were in clouds the whole way so we don't know what the view is like.
